GNOME 48 Desktop Environment Release Date Slated for March 19th, 2025
GNOME 48 will be dubbed “Bengaluru” after the host city of the GNOME Asia Summit 2024 conference, which will take place in Bengaluru, Karnataka, from December 6th to December 8th, 2024, and a release schedule has already been published by the GNOME devs.
According to the release schedule, GNOME 48 alpha will be available for public testing on January 4th, 2025, GNOME 48 beta is planned for February 1st, while the Release Candidate (RC) milestone should arrive on March 1st, 2025. The final release date of the GNOME 48 desktop environment was set for March 19th, 2025.
