Not Mainstream, But Not Niche Either
We've in our twenty third year
Yesterday our server received over 1.8 million Wevb requests (mostly in Tux Machines). We take this as an indicator of two things: 1) interest in GNU/Linux is growing; 2) bots on the Web are out of control.
Regarding point (1), many people have read this article from yesterday: GNU/Linux Doubled in a Year in the US
Not just in the US.
20 years ago in the US Techrights was born (we need to think how to mark this anniversary, a very rare occasion) and it has since then become quite an influential site. More and more people became involved in running it.
Likewise, Tux Machines became an increasingly important news hub. It's nowadays led by individuals in different countries, each person with a different set of skills. █
