Red Hat is Vanishing
As noted on 3 or 4 occasions yesterday in the sister site, as of January 2026 a lot of Red Hat staff is now officially IBM staff and even the roles may have changed. Some key Fedora people (e.g. Miller) were "reassigned" by IBM and now we see the same happening to thousands of workers.
How might this impact Red Hat's Linux development? It's not too clear yet, but many key people are leaving (or being pushed out).
Time will tell how much damage IBM is doing. █
