Ouisync - secure peer-to-peer file synchronization
Ouisync is a peer-to-peer file synchronization system designed around secure, decentralized sharing. Rather than requiring every participant to store files on a conventional central server, devices can exchange and synchronize repository data directly using the Ouisync protocol.
Repositories provide the unit around which content is stored and exchanged. Access can be shared with other users, allowing devices to participate in the same synchronized collection without depending on a traditional hosted file service.

WFM - lightweight standalone web file manager
It can provide browser access to a NAS, document tree or personal file store without requiring Apache, Nginx, PHP, a database or a JavaScript application framework. Core file operations are available directly from the browser, while text files can be edited in place.
The program is unusually flexible about how storage is exposed. Multiple filesystem roots can be mapped to URL prefixes, user-specific home directories can be kept private, and managed locations can also be exposed through WebDAV. WFM can serve selected directories as read-only websites alongside authenticated file-manager paths.

Sherif - zero-config linter for JavaScript and TypeScript monorepos
The software is designed to work without an initial configuration file and supports projects managed with pnpm, npm, Yarn and Bun. It does not require node_modules to be installed merely to inspect a workspace, which helps keep checks lightweight and makes it useful in continuous integration environments.
Sherif examines package metadata and workspace definitions to identify inconsistencies that are easy to introduce as a monorepo grows. Configuration can be placed in the root package.json when projects need to modify the defaults, ignore particular packages or dependencies, or disable selected rules.

ESLint Markdown - lint Markdown with ESLint
ESLint Markdown is the official Markdown language plugin for ESLint. It lets ESLint parse and lint Markdown documents using CommonMark or GitHub Flavored Markdown, bringing Markdown checks into the same configuration used for other project files.
Its rules cover areas such as heading structure, duplicate definitions, empty links and images, label references, link fragments, image alternative text and fenced code blocks. A processor can also extract fenced code blocks so their contents can be linted separately by ESLint.
The plugin also supports YAML, TOML and JSON front matter together with optional math syntax.

upmd - run tasks and workflows from Markdown
Tasks can be run interactively or non-interactively, while dependency relationships determine their execution order. Independent tasks within the same stage can execute concurrently, making the approach useful for workflows that include building, linting, testing and verification steps.
Because the source remains normal Markdown, a workflow can explain what each operation does alongside the commands themselves. This helps keep executable project knowledge close to the documentation rather than separating instructions into one file and automation into another.

FileRise - self-hosted web file manager and storage hub
It provides a browser interface for working with files while keeping storage and access control on infrastructure you manage. The open-source Core can run in Docker or on a standard Linux PHP web server and does not require an external database.
FileRise combines routine file management with granular permissions, resumable uploads, sharing, WebDAV, previews, tagging, search and optional encryption at rest. Multiple local roots and WebDAV sources can also be presented through the same interface.

libbsc - high performance block-sorting data compressor
The compressor is designed with large files and modern multicore processors in mind. Files are divided into blocks which can be processed in parallel, allowing compression and decompression workloads to make use of multiple CPU cores. The chosen block size affects both memory consumption and compression ratio, giving users some control over the trade-off between resource usage and compression efficiency.
libbsc uses a collection of transforms and entropy coding techniques intended to achieve strong compression while retaining competitive performance. The project is particularly interesting for users dealing with large datasets where compression ratio matters but extremely slow archival compressors are not desirable.

Stencil - powerful batch file renamer with live previews
Stencil is a batch file and directory renamer designed for GNOME. It helps bring consistent names to downloads, photographs and music collections without requiring a script.
Its strength is the operation queue. You can strip unwanted text, change the capitalisation and add a padded counter in successive stages, with each operation working on the previous result.
This is free and open source software. It’s written in Rust with GTK4 and libadwaita, although GNOME is not a requirement. I evaluated it under KDE Plasma on CachyOS.
Foodsoft - web-based software to manage food cooperatives
Foodsoft also provides facilities for managing members and workgroups. Access controls allow different responsibilities to be assigned to different users, while job scheduling helps coordinate the work contributed by members. Communication tools provide another way for cooperatives to keep their membership informed.
Financial functionality covers areas including invoices, transactions and accounting. Foodsoft can also integrate online payment processing and offers tools for tracking stock and managing deliveries. Its focus is specifically on the workflows used by food cooperatives rather than acting as a general-purpose online shop.

Tessera - custom QR code generator
The program offers control over the foreground colour and warns when the chosen colour produces insufficient contrast for reliable scanning. This is useful when creating QR codes intended to match an existing visual design while retaining practical readability.
Tessera supports all four standard QR error-correction levels. Finished codes can be exported in raster or vector formats, or copied directly to the clipboard. Preferences for colour and error-correction level can be retained between sessions.

deno_lint - Rust crate for JavaScript and TypeScript linters
The project provides the machinery needed to parse source code, execute lint rules, produce diagnostics and apply fixes. It ships with a substantial collection of rules covering correctness, suspicious constructs, style-related issues and common JavaScript and TypeScript programming mistakes. A recommended rule set provides a useful baseline without requiring developers to assemble a configuration from scratch.
Developers can use deno_lint as a foundation for their own linting tools or integrate its rule engine into larger development environments and code-analysis workflows. The project works with Deno’s AST infrastructure and exposes APIs for controlling enabled rules, diagnostics and source analysis.
