Burying and Halting Proliferation of Slop Images by Leveraging the Public Domain
Today, as many works are officially becoming Public Domain (US), we've made the decision to make better use of decent archives while promoting their use, exposure etc.
The photo on the left is from pdimagearchive.org. We try to come up with better ways to properly attribute - maybe also link to - authoritative sources or pages crediting the source/s. We need to encourage people to reject and steer away from slop images. █
