The forty first release of Fedora GNU/Linux is here. It's released on Tuesday, 29 October 2024 or two weeks after Ubuntu Oracular Oriole release date. It is available in a lot of editions, mainly: Workstation, Server, IoT, Cloud and many more. Ubuntu 18.04 Standard Support Ends This Month

Well, kind of.

Ubuntu 18.04 hits end-of-life on May 31, 2023 — but, importantly, it only affects standard support.

Ubuntu Pro Subscribers get Extended Support Maintenance (ESM) on Ubuntu 18.04 for a further 5 years, pushing the Beaver’s true EOL date out to 2028.
