In the summer of 2025, executives of the French game development company Ubisoft were tried and convicted for harassment in the workplace. It is interesting to contrast the stories from Ubisoft with the stories about the Debian harassment culture. Remember, Debian's Sylvestre Ledru, who also works for Mozilla, published blogs promoting collaboration between Ubisoft and the open source software communities. Sylvestre was formerly a Debian administrator for the Google Summer of Code internships.
