• JRPG-inspired adventure Flowstone Saga with a puzzle-battle system is out now

  From Impact Gameworks who made the excellent Tangledeep, their next game Flowstone Saga is officially out now with Linux support. Note: my key was provided by NOVY UNLIMITED PR.

• Pinball Spire is a wonderful reinvention of what Pinball can be

  There's been a few attempts to update Pinball into something new, and Pinball Spire is the latest that's out now. It's Steam Deck Verified and works great on desktop Linux with Valve's Proton. Note: my key was sent by the developer.

• Unified Linux Wine Game Launcher (UMU) gets a first official release

  Unified Linux Wine Game Launcher (UMU) from Thomas "GloriousEggroll" Crider version 1.1.1 is out now as the first official release to help improve Linux desktop and Steam Deck gaming.

• 6 years after Kickstarter, Orphan Age dev Studio Black Flag shuts without a release

  Game development is a complicated beast, a constant challenge to get funding and for Studio Black Flag who were building the promising looking Orphan Age it's all over. A game I covered all the way back in 2018 with their Kickstarter, when the developer was confident on it having Linux support.

• Epic roguelike Caves of Qud gets a tutorial Beta and the price goes up soon

  Caves of Qud is easily (and I keep saying this) one of the best roguelikes ever made, and with the latest Beta it's a lot easier to get into. You might also want to buy it soon before the price rises.

• Steam Deck SteamOS 3.6.17 Beta released with another quick fix

  After a bigger Steam Beta Client recently that had some nice improvements for Game Recording, and various Linux fixes along with another SteamOS Beta - we have yet another tiny SteamOS update.

• Sid Meier's Civilization VII gets Windows system requirements with Linux and macOS details later

  Firaxis Games and 2K have released the system requirements for Sid Meier's Civilization VII on Windows, but the Linux and macOS requirements will be coming later.
