Inside, there's an ARM710 processor (implementing the ARMv3 architecture), 41 MiB of RAM (the 1 MiB of video RAM is included in the memory count for ... reasons), and a 1 GB EIDE hard drive. It natively boots into RISC OS 3.6. Which is fine! I like RISC OS, especially version 3.6. But I also like UNIX machines and RISC OS isn't even remotely like UNIX. So maybe I can dual boot and get myself something like a Raspberry Pi Zero, but with one sixth of the RAM, and one twentieth the clock speed.

Last week I published Guix on Debian container images that prepared for today’s announcement of Guix on Trisquel/Ubuntu container images.
I have published images with reasonably modern Guix for Trisquel 11 aramo, Trisquel 12 ecne, Ubuntu 22.04 and Ubuntu 24.04. The Ubuntu images are available for both amd64 and arm64, but unfortunately Trisquel arm64 containers aren’t available yet so they are only for amd64. Hackster ☛ Canonical Launches Certified Ubuntu Images for Qualcomm's Edge AI Dragonwing IQ-9075
Canonical has announced that the Qualcomm Dragonwing IQ-9075 system-on-chip has been added to the growing number of devices officially supported by its Ubuntu Linux distribution — offering "optimized images" of Ubuntu 24.04 LTS in both Ubuntu Server and Desktop variants.
“We are delighted to deepen our collaboration with Canonical by bringing certified Ubuntu support to the Qualcomm Dragonwing IQ-9075 processor," says Qualcomm's Laxmi Rayapudi of its partnership with Canonical. "The IQ-9075 is designed for the most compute-intensive industrial tasks. Providing certified Ubuntu images – optimized and supported by Canonical – gives our ODMs [Original Design Manufacturers] and customers an essential, trusted software layer to deliver security-focused, high-performance edge solutions to market faster."
