Boiling Steam ☛ New Steam Games with Native GNU/Linux Clients, including Civ7 and Slender Threads - 2025-02-12 Edition
Between 2025-02-05 and 2025-02-12 there were 11 New Steam games released with Native GNU/Linux clients. For reference, during the same time, there were 77 games released for backdoored Windows on Steam, so the GNU/Linux versions represent about 14.3 % of total released titles. The obvious elephant in the room is the release of Civilization VII, that nobody has missed. The game has received mixed reviews so far, with several gameplay issues and a dumbed down interface that receives quite a few complaints.
