Intel has listed five new Battlemage PCI IDs that will be integrated into the next update cycle for the Linux 6.11 kernel. The lack of many IDs hints that Intel's next-gen GPU launch could have far fewer SKUs than its outgoing Arc A-series lineup.

During the recent Computex keynote, Intel gave us a rundown of what to expect with their Xe2 graphics architecture in terms of capabilities, but we never really got a chance to know about specific SKUs within the series. However, the architecture's enablement at Linux might provide us an idea of how Intel plans to decorate the lineup as the newest DRM-Xe-Next pull request; the firm has decided to add in new device IDs associated with the Xe2 architecture or Battlemage GPUs.
