KDE Sets Ambitious Goals for 2026 and Beyond
Quoting: KDE Sets Ambitious Goals for 2026 and Beyond » Linux Magazine —
If you take a gander at the KDE Invent board, you'll see three cards listed under Selected: KDE for Enterprise and Deployments, Better Documentation, and Next Generation Styling for KDE.
These are the three primary goals for 2026 and beyond, but what specifically are these goals?
The KDE for Enterprise and Deployments card lists things like support for single sign-on (SSO)-based accounts and logins, better LDAP integration, password expiry support, decent network printer settings, documentation that is up to date for sys admins, and configuration support to allow more admin-based control. Each bullet point in this list is clearly pointing toward better security, easier administration, and improved stability/performance for features required by large organizations.
