The NanoPi R28S is a compact networking-focused Linux board based on the Rockchip RK3528A from FriendlyELEC. The 45 × 45mm platform provides dual Gigabit Ethernet, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, microSD storage, optional eMMC, and dual USB-C ports, with support for several Linux-based operating systems.
The August 2026 release of DietPi v10.6 expands hardware support with new images for the Orange Pi 4 Pro, Orange Pi Zero 3W, and several Odroid boards. The update also improves DietPi-Banner functionality, adds RISC-V support for the Kubo IPFS Node package, and addresses stability and configuration issues across multiple platforms.
T seems like a perfect day to be out. A cool day with such a sunny start (we come back in the later afternoon anyway) is a good start for a special birthday.
HREE years ago we kickbanned a number of connected individuals from Techrights IRC because illegal things had been done. 2 years later a judge at the UK High Court acknowledged that bad things had been done; the issue was, there was a burden of proof put on us to show evidence of attribution and Tor was used by the perpetrators (several of them in the mix).

N the modest local market we buy almost everything. We pay with cash, we enjoy every moment of it unless it’s rainy, and we can return things if they’re faulty (provided we know the vendor and choose a reliable one based on reputation/pedigree/word of mouth).
