JMAP Webmail - modern webmail client for Stalwart
JMAP Webmail is a self-hosted browser email client built primarily for Stalwart Mail Server.
Instead of relying on IMAP for mailbox access, it communicates using JMAP, a modern protocol designed for synchronising email and related data efficiently. The application combines mail, contacts and calendar functionality in a responsive interface and supports both individual accounts and shared mail environments. It is built with Next.js and TypeScript.

Vibe - Wayland music visualizer and shader player
Vibe is a desktop music visualizer for Wayland which turns currently playing audio into shader-driven graphics.
Its approach is closer to a programmable wallpaper than a conventional spectrum analyser: the visual output is created by shaders and can react to audio data in real time. It is inspired by GLava and Shadertoy and is intended for compositors which implement the wlr-layer-shell protocol. That requirement means it fits naturally with many wlroots-based desktops and compositors, but it is not a universal Wayland visualizer.

sdrtop - terminal monitor for software-defined radio hardware
sdrtop is a terminal-based monitoring and diagnostic application for software-defined radio (SDR) hardware. It provides real-time information about radio signals and receiver performance through an interactive interface that works in a conventional terminal or remote SSH session.
The application is designed for radio enthusiasts, experimenters and engineers who want to investigate signals and understand how their SDR hardware is performing. It combines spectrum visualisation with detailed measurements of the receiver’s signal chain.
sdrtop supports several radio devices, including HackRF, RTL-SDR and tinySA hardware. It concentrates on measurement and signal inspection rather than audio listening, providing tools for examining modulation, receiver performance and captured IQ data.

Afterlogic WebMail Lite - self-hosted webmail client
Afterlogic WebMail Lite is a self-hosted browser-based email client designed to work with an existing IMAP mail server.
It provides the user-facing webmail layer rather than operating as a mail transfer server itself. The application is built on Afterlogic’s modular Aurora framework, allowing mail, contacts, authentication and administrative functionality to be assembled from separate components. It can be deployed on a conventional Linux web server and accessed entirely through a browser.

BOSGAME VTA-439 Mini PC Running Linux: The Callisto Protocol
I’ve been finding out how well the BOSGAME VTA-439 handles gaming under Linux. Its Radeon 890M integrated graphics have their limits, but it’s always interesting to see what a small machine without a dedicated graphics card can manage. The Callisto Protocol looked like a good way to give it a harder time.
The VTA-439 uses AMD’s Ryzen AI 9 HX 470 processor, with a mixture of Zen 5 and Zen 5c CPU cores. Its Radeon 890M shares system memory, so I’m keeping expectations realistic: 1920×1080, a willingness to turn down the settings, and no assumption that every game will run smoothly.
For this test, I worked through all four graphics presets under CachyOS, then compared the results with Windows 11 on the same machine. I’ve also included results from my RTX 3060 Ti desktop to show what a dedicated graphics card brings to the game.
Querybook - collaborative big data IDE
Querybook is a web-based big data IDE for exploring datasets, composing queries and sharing analytical work.
Originally developed at Pinterest, it combines an SQL editor with documentation, visualization and collaboration facilities. Rather than treating queries as isolated snippets, Querybook lets teams organise them into richer analytical documents containing text, queries and charts. It is particularly suited to organisations where many people query shared data infrastructure and need an easier way to discover existing tables and previous work.

comhad - terminal file manager for S3 object storage
The application is designed to simplify everyday cloud storage operations. Users can navigate directories, examine file contents and transfer data without constructing individual commands for each operation.
comhad places particular emphasis on safe file management. Transfers operate in the background, synchronisation previews show proposed changes before they are applied, and potentially destructive operations require confirmation. The interface supports keyboard-driven navigation as well as mouse interaction.

EveryDocs - simple self-hosted document management system
EveryDocs is a simple document management system aimed primarily at private and small-scale use.
The project separates the server-side EveryDocs Core from its web interface, with the core handling document storage, metadata, search, authentication and the REST API. Documents are centred around PDF files and can be supplied with descriptive metadata, assigned to folders and associated with people or processing states. Content extraction makes the PDFs searchable, while optional encrypted storage provides an alternative when protecting files at rest takes priority over content indexing.
