The Chromium developers made a change that broke evdev handling of mouse input, as reported here:

So EasyOS 7.0.24 had mouse input changed from evdev to libinput.
Now at Easy 7.1, I discovered that mouse input is broken again. It happened on a couple of sites, including my bank login -- clicking the mouse pointer on the account name and password fields did not activate them and was unable to type anything.
