Just Like That, Another Year Comes to an End
Last night the Christmas Day Bird came back again at night, i.e. in the darkness. That's 5 out of 6 nights in a row. Tonight at midnight there will be a lot of noise outside (no, I won't be going out for fireworks), then some annual technical tasks are due and WOOHOO, it's 2026 already! Time flew by so fast.
2026 will be a productive year for us. Probably a lot more so than 2025. We have exactly 4 years left before it's 2030. Will all the conflicts be over all around the world? Would they go global if some superpowers craved "big change" and went nuclear, or steered towards WW3 (starting with Taiwan)? Nobody knows and almost nobody wants to guess. █
