Tor released Tails Linux 7.2: Here's what's new
The Tor Project just dropped a massive update for its operating system, Tails 7.2. This release brings a ton of upgrades and a couple of major quality-of-life improvements that users who rely on it for anonymity will definitely appreciate.
The biggest changes that you’ll notice right away involve the Tor Browser, which has been updated to version 15.0.1. This new browser is based on Firefox 140, and it gets some features that will boost usability, especially if you tend to juggle multiple tasks.
Tails 7.2 comes with native support for vertical tabs. This is a great feature for anyone who finds themselves with dozens of sites open at once. Instead of having a cluttered, unreadable row of tiny tabs across the top of your screen, this lets users shift the tab list to the side. The vertical format gives you much more space to read the full page title.
