  The day has arrived, Valve have announced a major hardware expansion with multiple devices including the new Steam Frame, Steam Controller and Steam Machine. And of course, they're powered by SteamOS (Linux), exactly the sort of thing we cover! Massive news for Linux gaming, and shows how committed Valve are to open source and having an open platform.

• Satisfactory gets optimizations, and improved Steam Deck support in patch 1.1.1.7 | GamingOnLinux

  Coffee Stain Studios are showing how it's done, with Satisfactory getting a bunch of optimizations, and there's also improved Steam Deck support.

• KOMODO's Steam Deck store is renaming to KOMODO STATION - perhaps ahead of the Steam Frame | GamingOnLinux

  Something is definitely happening in Valve land, as the KOMODO Steam Deck Store is being renamed KOMODO STATION tomorrow, November 13th.

• Embark confirm "Duo prioritized matchmaking" for ARC Raiders and lowered store prices | GamingOnLinux

  Embark Studios have confirmed some recent changes to ARC Raiders, including a highly requested change for Duos to have a bit more fun with it. The game has been running very well on Linux, even with the Easy Anti-Cheat as it's enabled. It's listed on our dedicated anti-cheat page.

• Beatblock may look simple but this rhythm-action game is absolutely brilliant (and brutal) | GamingOnLinux

  Beatblock has such a simple style to it that it may fool you into thinking it's a rather basic game, but the rhythm-action is provides is properly good. Note: the developer sent a key.

• Tabulo is an upcoming Balatro-inspired chess roguelike | GamingOnLinux

  Another Balatro-inspired game and this time it's a chess roguelike, and one that actually looks like it could be pretty fun. There's a demo available which has Native Linux support.

• Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. World Stage silently added Easy Anti-Cheat | GamingOnLinux

  With no official notice from the developer, Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. World Stage recently added in Easy Anti-Cheat. It's not listed on the Steam page either, which appears to be against Valve's rules on this. Valve really need to clamp down on their rules to ensure developers are correctly listing things.

• ELDEN RING NIGHTREIGN The Forsaken Hollows arrives December 4 | GamingOnLinux

  ELDEN RING NIGHTREIGN, the standalone multiplayer co-op survival action game by FromSoftware, Inc. is set to expand on December 4 with The Forsaken Hollows.

• SteamVR 2.13 brings a whole lot of bug fixes | GamingOnLinux

  While many of us are no doubt waiting on whatever the Steam Frame turns out to be, Valve have released the latest stable SteamVR release with lots of bug fixes. There's even a couple in there for Linux too.
