Microsoft is Very Stressed About People Moving to GNU/Linux
This was published by a Microsoft-sponsored "news" site moments ago:
"Microsoft is very scared that the old [sic] hardware will end up with Linux on it," a reader wrote. He suggested this as a topic to cover.
Many people do move to GNU/Linux, but Microsoft partners are attempting to claim otherwise, based on no actual evidence. Be wary of news headlines that claim so and check who they cite/quote, typically marketing firms disguised as "research".
As we said earlier today, Microsoft is in serious trouble. Morale is low, XBox is dying, and it's not clear how the company will make money other than by becoming its own client (fraud).
Without Windows, there's really not much left to Microsoft. Or to put it differently, without a "common carrier" as a dominant platform (to facilitate DRM, "Store", Office, "online services", "cloud" things, chatbots etc.) and without enough market share to collect monopoly rents, there is not much left to Microsoft Windows.█
