THE latest statCounter data for this month (source here) reveals ongoing growth for GNU/Linux in South America, continuing what we saw at ~3% just a couple of months ago. Now it's nearing 4% and far more if one counts Android (it still dominates).

There are Windows layoffs, perhaps not surprisingly. Windows is at all-time lows and Vista 11's market share has nosedived internationally; perhaps many people decide to abandon Windows altogether. █
