It’s been six years since GeForce NOW launched for PC in 2020, after being in beta since 2015, and now NVIDIA officially announced yesterday that its app is out of beta for Linux. The app brings both the streaming service’s game library and RTX features to Linux users, whether they are using a powerful desktop PC or Chromebook laptop. The service supports frame generation, providing up to 120 FPS in either 1440p or 4K, and NVIDIA jibes that “It all adds up for more ways to move from assignments to adventures across nearly any device,” for students using devices they rely on for school.
