Sharing is Caring
Some time in the past we began feeding the birds around us. It started with small amounts of linseed (packaged for human consumption) and it targeted a pair of birds, basically a couple. Later they brought in a baby and later came some bird we felt bad for, partly due to seasonal moulting. At some point we just decided to feed any bird that would come along, which meant we were finishing sacks of seeds, offloaded to glass jars and loaded up like magazines at the battle lines. Nowadays we feed 4 jars per day, not counting what we feed at the park and water canals. We also supply dishes with water because this weather is harsh. Giving seeds to 2 birds isn't the same as feeding ~100 birds. But the more, the merrier.
Sharing is caring, also when it comes to food. Cost is a side issue. █
