SuSE Users' Panic Unfounded

Rumors circulating that Novell is going to kill off its popular Linux desktop lines are completely false.

A Linux Today story, which asked the rhetorical question "Why has Novell management decided to discontinue their entire SuSE Linux branded desktop and workstation product line?" seems to have been the source of these stories.

Greg Mancusi-Ungaro, Novell Inc.'s director of marketing for Linux and open source, said, "Novell has a Linux desktop leadership position with NLD [Novell Linux Desktop] and SuSE 10, and we intend to keep the pedal down hard."

"The SuSE Linux teams are largely untouched," Mancusi-Ungaro added. "Novell is focusing more on areas that are strategic, and the desktop is definitely one of them."

    Ghost is a very popular open-source content management system. Started as an alternative to WordPress and it went on to become an alternative to Substack by focusing on membership and newsletter. On Linux handbook, we already have a guide on deploying Ghost with Docker in a reverse proxy setup. Instead of Ngnix reverse proxy, you can also use another software called Traefik with Docker. It is a popular open-source cloud-native application proxy, API Gateway, Edge-router, and more. I use Traefik to secure my websites using an SSL certificate obtained from Let's Encrypt. Once deployed, Traefik can automatically manage your certificates and their renewals. In this tutorial, I'll share the necessary steps for deploying a Ghost blog with Docker and Traefik.
