PCLinuxOS Magazine ☛ Using Kate As A Typst Editor
To conclude my series on Typst-friendly editors, I planned to write about Neovim with the typst-preview.nvim. Having no prior experience with Neovim, I began researching its plugin ecosystem, found it confusing and concluded that the learning curve was too steep for me. As a fallback, I chose to explore Kate because I remember reading positive comments about it from several Typst users. I have been impressed how smoothly Kate handles my Typst files.
I could not find a tutorial on how to use Kate as a Typst editor, so I documented the procedure that I followed. I hope it will enable you to set up a productive workflow with these tools.
