Four months in the making, the KDE Plasma 5.25 desktop environment series is here to introduce exciting new features like full control of the Tablet Mode from both Wayland and X11 sessions, new finger-following (1:1) touchpad gestures for touch-friendly devices, a configuration window for KRunner, as well as a new floating mode for the panel that detaches it from the bottom of the screen to look more like a dock.

    Right after the latest release of the KDE Frameworks comes the Plasma Desktop 5.25 plus the default desktop for the forthcoming Linux Mint 23.

    KDE Plasma 5.25 is the latest version of the oldest FOSS desktop around, with new and improved features that will particularly benefit trackpad and touchscreen users and people with convertible laptops.

    It appears right after version 5.95 of the KDE Frameworks, but to be honest, this won't be especially visible unless you're a developer. The KDE organization itself describes the Frameworks as "a set of 83 add-on libraries for programming with Qt."

On Linux handbook, we already have a guide on deploying Ghost with Docker in a reverse proxy setup. Instead of Ngnix reverse proxy, you can also use another software called Traefik with Docker. It is a popular open-source cloud-native application proxy, API Gateway, Edge-router, and more. I use Traefik to secure my websites using an SSL certificate obtained from Let's Encrypt. Once deployed, Traefik can automatically manage your certificates and their renewals. In this tutorial, I'll share the necessary steps for deploying a Ghost blog with Docker and Traefik.
