Runic Rampage, an action-RPG that works well on Linux that would fit a more casual audience
Here's a game we completely missed that released back in 2017 - Runic Rampage. An action-RPG from developer Electrocosmos.
The developer sent along a copy to our Steam Curator, so when I had a free moment or two I checked it out. Unlike a lot of action-RPGs it's not very flashy, in fact it's a pretty cut-down experienced compared to a lot of other similar games. It's one that doesn't require a huge amount of concentration and so it fits a casual audience quite nicely.

Single-player 3D platformer 'Spiralagon' looks ridiculously fun and it should come to Linux
I have to admit, while watching the video for Spiralagon it did make me chuckle quite a bit. It's not a very serious game but it sure looks like fun.
When browsing over itch.io I recently came across it and decided to prod the developer about Linux support.

An enhanced version of the fan-made Half-Life 2: Episode 3 'Project Borealis' performance test is out
Project Borealis, the fan-made Half-Life 2: Episode 3 is still continuing along, with the release of a second performance to test so we can stress-test their work.

Damsel, the fast-paced action platformer with comic-like story-telling is worth a look
After being sent a copy of Damsel from Screwtape Studios to our Steam Curator, I spent some time as Special Agent Damsel.
Damsel is an action platformer that requires some quick thinking and good finger reflexes. A platformer that starts off fast, gets a little faster and then decides to throw more and more at you as time goes on. You're not just a vampire slaying bad-ass, you're also a bomb disposal expert who can hack computers and crack open a safe with time to spare.

Samsung, Red Hat to Work on Linux Drivers for Future Tech
The metaverse is expected to uproot system design as we know it, and Samsung is one of many hardware vendors re-imagining data center infrastructure in preparation for a parallel 3D world.
Samsung is working on new memory technologies that provide faster bandwidth inside hardware for data to travel between CPUs, storage and other computing resources. The company also announced it was partnering with Red Hat to ensure these technologies have Linux compatibility.
