MKVToolNix 103 is a more hefty update introducing support for setting stereo mode from the frame packing arrangement SEI message in the video stream for AVC/H.264 and HEVC/H.265.

This can be done in mkvmerge if neither the command line nor the container specifies one. According to the devs, the implementation works for MP4, Matroska, AVC elementary stream, HEVC elementary stream, and MPEG transport stream input, and is already known during file identification.
