Yesterday we served over 2 million requests (for WWW), but we assume most are unwanted bots. Today there will be further maintenance on the network at the datacentre. Quoting the webhost: "We're doing some maintenance to our optical network in telehouse. Only the management is affected during a reboot period. We do not expect this to be service affecting."

Once that's done, we'll take things up a notch, with testing of enhancements, then preparations for next year.

It seems like the ISP did some maintenance overnight at around midnight, so there was a brief outage/disconnection. That let me reboot our home hub for the first time in nearly a year. █
