We Never Link to Microsoft Lunduke, It's an Abuser
Boys will be boys
The cash cows online seem to be "attention" and bubbles (including paid-for or fake attention); companies unable to make any money start treating "engagement" like an actual currency (with which to sell ads, even ads that don't manage to actually sell anything). To make a point: Lots of narcissism from Microsoft Lunduke is an everyday spectacle (painting himself as a hero using memes about himself). It looks ugly, if not mildly psychopathic. He really craves attention. To the point he'd abuse and lie about people to earn attention.
Some people in the Free software world have publicly asked, many times in fact, what's the best way to deal with such stuff (other than censorship/deplatforming)? Well, making people better aware of these 'cowboys' and their toxic tactics (e.g. siccing trolls at us; he's not alone) can work. It is not the same as sending them "traffic", as that can be done tactfully and sensibly, even responsibly.
These online cowboys are not a new phenomenon. Even back in the 90s there were sites of right-wing pundits with their name (followed by "Report" after that). We don't want to name them all. It's not a new problem and dealing with it isn't too hard. So little has changed since then, except maybe the terms used. Before there was a "podcast" or "show" (e.g. Rogan") we had things like "Drudge Report". Who still reads Drudge Report in 2025? █
