Powered by the latest and greatest Linux 6.13 kernel, Garuda Linux “Broadwing” introduces a brand-new Welcome app called Garuda Rani (Reliable Assistant for Native Installations) designed to streamline and enhance the Garuda Linux experience for newcomers. Garuda Rani integrates the functionality of the Welcome, Gamer, and Assistant apps.
GNOME 48 Release Candidate (RC) is packed with lots of goodies compared to the Beta and Alpha versions, including Wayland color management protocol support in the Mutter window and composite manager, which also received support for activating the Activities Overview with either Super key, as well as for centering new windows by default.
Coming four and a half months after Clonezilla Live 3.2, the Clonezilla Live 3.2.1 release bumps the kernel from the Linux 6.11 used in the previous version to Linux 6.12 LTS to provide users with better hardware support. LILYGO has introduced the T-Watch S3 Plus, an upgraded version of its ESP32-based smartwatch. KDE Neon is a Linux distribution, developed by the KDE community, that is based on Ubuntu’s long-term support (LTS) releases and provides users with the latest KDE software (including the Plasma desktop environment and Qt toolkit), without modifications or patches.
