NetworkManager 1.52 Released with IPvlan Interface Support, ethtool FEC Mode

Coming five months after NetworkManager 1.50, the NetworkManager 1.52 release introduces IPvlan interface support, the ability to manually configure the authentication of LTE’s initial EPS Bearer, support for ethtool FEC (Forward Error Correction) mode, and support for automatically adding routes to DNS servers via the ipv4.routed-dns and ipv6.routed-dns properties.

NVIDIA 570 Linux Graphics Driver Released with New Features and Improvements

Highlights of the NVIDIA 570 graphics driver series include VRR (variable refresh rate) support on multi-monitor setups, along with a new conceal_vrr_caps kernel module parameter to enable usage of features on some displays, such as ULMB (Ultra Low Motion Blur), which are incompatible with VRR.

DavMail 6.3 Open-Source Exchange Gateway Released

DavMail, an open-source, cross-platform Exchange and Office 365 gateway that allows users to integrate their preferred email and calendar clients—such as Thunderbird—with Microsoft Exchange servers, has just reached version 6.3.

One of the significant advancements in the new release is the upgraded embedded Java Runtime Environment to version 21, which directly improves TLS 1.3 support, a protocol offering tighter security for all communications between DavMail and Exchange or Office 365.

The dev team has also implemented a more secure channel binding mechanism for NTLM authentication, reinforcing the gateway’s security capabilities.
