Fwupd 2.0.6 Brings Enhanced Features and Bug Fixes
Quoting: Fwupd 2.0.6 Brings Enhanced Features and Bug Fixes —
Less than two weeks after its previous 2.0.5 release, Fwupd, an open-source utility designed to make updating firmware on Linux-based systems easier and more automatic, rolled out its new 2.0.6 version.
The new release includes several key enhancements, one of which is the addition of fwupdtool efiboot-hive, a new command that allows users to set the nmbl command line, thereby offering a more flexible configuration process.
Moreover, if you need to pause or delay firmware updates for administrative reasons, you can now conveniently set an “inhibit reason” directly from fwupdmgr.
