Microsoft Crisis in the US
Vista 11 was released more than 5 years ago and analytics.usa.gov still measures its usage at about 17% compared to 6% GNU/Linux or 7.2% Chrome OS plus GNU/Linux. This means that laptops and desktops running some kind of GNU/Linux now have roughly the same market share (divided by two) as the "latest Windows" - the only still-supported version of Windows. This issue for Microsoft is further magnified by the fact that in US laptops and desktops, according to Cloudflare, GNU/Linux is now measured at about 20%.
It is always higher at nighttime (US time).
analytics.usa.gov includes mobile too and it is limited to government sites, unlike Cloudflare. █
