PC Mag ☛ Proton Takes on Google, Microsoft Again With a New 2FA Security App
The new open-source Proton Authenticator app joins Proton Mail, Proton Pass, and Proton VPN. It works similarly to its rivals by generating unique login codes that last only 30 seconds before regenerating as an alternative to SMS authentication.
Proton Authenticator is out now, and it’s available across Android, iOS, Linux, macOS, and Windows. You can use the tool with or without a Proton account, and it’s free for everyone.

Vincent Delft ☛ My last neovim config facilitating pytohn, shell and html/css development
Neovim configurations are never set in stone; they’re always evolving. But there comes a moment when you feel you’ve maximized what your setup can do for you. Every component is installed, configured, and working seamlessly, making your daily Neovim experience smooth and efficient. That’s exactly where I am with this config. It perfectly suits my needs, and I haven’t felt the urge to tweak it for weeks—maybe even months. It feels like I’ve hit a sweet spot. How long will this last? I’m not sure. But I’m excited to share it in my upcoming posts.

Joel Chrono ☛ People that keep this site going
I remember asking her about it, and she was struggling to keep the RSS feed updated1 manually, so it was pretty bare bones to reduce maintenance. She was planning to bring back her archive at some point though, which made me happy.
A couple days ago, she moved to Eleventy, and I couldn’t be happier! She got a gist of how an SSG works, and she did so with the help of her friends, who have been there for support and questions she might have.

Hollie ☛ Aug.02 - Blaugust Day 2
I'm typing in markdown right now, so I don't have to write any HTML to go along with this, which is a bit ironic considering this is HTML Day (yay, HTML!). I'm celebrating HTML by...converting my hand-coded HTML blog to one that is created through Eleventy, a static-site generator. I did this because the fuss of editing my own RSS.xml file was getting to be a bit too much.
