The Framework Desktop is a tiny 4.5L Mini-ITX machine powered by the AMD Ryzen AI Max “Strix Halo” processors with discrete-level Radeon 8060S graphics and 16 CPU cores at 5.1GHz boost clock, up to 128GB LPDDR5x RAM, up to 16TB of storage, and a semi-custom 400W power supply with FSP in a standard Flex ATX form factor.

KDE Plasma 6.3.2 Released with Animated WebP and GIF Support for Spectacle

Coming only a week after KDE Plasma 6.3.1, the KDE Plasma 6.3.2 release adds animated WebP and GIF support to the Spectacle screenshot tool, along with a warning notification when WebP support is missing and a prompt that notifies users that WebP is better than GIF.

Dr.Parted Live is a bootable GNU/Linux distribution based on Debian testing.

The Live CD/USB features the lightweight Openbox window manager and useful applications for data backup, restore and recovery.

It contains Apart GUI that is a front end to the Partclone command line utility, and is capable of bare-metal backup and recovery of disk partitions. It can use external hard drives and network shares.

Dr.Parted also aims to provide an easy way to carry out administration tasks on a computer, such as creating and editing hard disk partitions. Although GParted and Apart GTK are the main programs, the CD/USB also offers other applications, such as Netsurf, GSmart Control, Connman, Grsync, Xarchiver, HD Sentinel, USBimager, etc. It also contains a suite of powerful command line tools: clonezilla, testdisk, partimage, photorec, ddrescue, nwipe, scalpel, safecopy, fsarchiver, memtester, curl, wget, cryptsetup, chntpw, wipe and hdparm.
