Scribus is the Desktop Publishing Program (DTP) of free/libre open source software world and is available for GNU/Linux, Windows and MacOS. THIS past week we looked at large and populous European countries, assessing the status of GNU/Linux there based on what statCounter is seeing (not that statCounter is a very reliable or accurate yardstick).

According to the data from this statCounter page, Italy is back to curious adoption levels of GNU/Linux after a temporary bump a couple of years ago (the bump serves to shows statCounter's weakness).

Microsoft is, in general, not doing well. Bing is down this month, Windows is down to its lowest share ever, and there are many layoffs. █
