OSMC's June update is here with Kodi v20
We've been very busy behind the scenes and we're now happy to announce the availability Kodi v20 for all OSMC supported devices. All devices supported by OSMC on Kodi v19 remain supported for Kodi v20.

The Luckfox Lyra PLC is a compact Linux-based programmable logic controller built around the Rockchip RK3506B processor. The DIN-rail system provides dual 100Mbps Ethernet, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, industrial serial interfaces, CAN, relay outputs, and a 1.9-inch touchscreen.
Seeed Studio’s reComputer Classic J5011 and J5012 are a pair of AI development systems based on NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin modules. The reComputer Classic J5011 uses the 32GB AGX Orin module, while the J5012 steps up to the 64GB version. Both systems are intended as direct replacements for NVIDIA’s Jetson AGX Orin Developer Kit while retaining compatibility with its peripheral ecosystem.
Norwegian-based Tenko has released an open-hardware development board based on STMicroelectronics’ STM32C5 microcontroller family. The compact board follows the familiar Blue Pill form factor while adding USB-C power, onboard USB-to-UART connectivity, and an alternative firmware environment based on Oberon-2.
Apollo Automation has launched the ESPHome Starter Kit, a modular smart-home development platform built around an ESP32-C6 board and designed to let users create ESPHome devices without soldering, breadboards, or writing code. The kit operates locally and can be used independently or integrated with Home Assistant.
Coming a month and a half after GNOME 51 alpha, the GNOME 51 beta release improves GNOME Shell with better keyboard navigation of screenshot area selection, SVG-based cursor implementations, initial support for the ‘reduced-motion’ setting, support for web login and a unified auth mechanism, and support for copy, paste, and cut action keys in entries.
The Advantech AOM-2721 is designed to handle machine vision, robotics, drones, and medical Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs) under strict physical and thermal constraints. It is powered by a Qualcomm QCS6490 (or QCS5430) octa-core ARM processor running at a low 6.9-watt Thermal Design Power (TDP).
The monthly KDE Frameworks releases continue, and KDE Frameworks 6.29 is here to add an icon for Android app bundle files in the Breeze icon theme, improve the fancy Kirigami tab bars in QML-based apps to switch the active tab when scrolling over them or using a tab-switching keyboard shortcut, and improve the visual fidelity of small icons in Kirigami-based apps.
Coming almost two months after Raspberry Pi Imager 2.0.10, the Raspberry Pi Imager 2.0.11 release introduces support for newer multi-frame compressed images, the ability to lock the drive exclusively on Linux and Windows while writing so nothing else can interfere, and a proper “Erase/Format” command.
