Barry Kauler ☛ Kernels 6.6.161 and 6.12.115 compiled
I reported recently that EasyOS has a simple mechanism to rollback to an earlier kernel:
I have compiled 6.6.161 and 6.12.115 in woofQ2, and EasyOS could be built now with either of these; however, with Easy 7.5 we have bumped to the 7.2.x kernels. But, with this rollback mechanism, can easily go back to these earlier kernels.

Vasudev Kamath: Releasing debvulns with needrestart and kernel vulnerability handling
After quite some time, I picked up debvulns again to implement what I mentioned in my previous post: exporting reboot required status and identifying services that need a restart. Additionally, I wanted to ensure kernel vulnerabilities are not marked as fixed unless the running kernel matches or exceeds the fixed version. Both features are now live in version 0.2.4 (intermediate release 0.2.3 only included the needrestart functionality).
