Audacity 4.0.1 Audio Editor Restores Keyboard Shortcuts from Audacity 3
Audacity 4.0.1 adds support for exporting each track or each labelled region to its own file, restores the missing keyboard shortcuts from the Audacity 3 series, adds clickable carousel dots on the Welcome screen, adds a Liquid Glass app icon on macOS, and adds an “Open in file manager” option to the Cloud projects tab.
This release also improves accessibility by making the timeline and the track vertical rulers part of keyboard navigation, making toast notifications reachable by keyboard and announceable by screen readers, and ensuring the “Add effect” button is focused when opening the Effects panel.
