Dissatisfied With Technology's Direction
Today we went to Mayfield, where there seems to be an impending event under the sun. On the way there the birds could not recognise Rianne because she was wearing pink (not the usual blue). We brought 4 drinks with us and watched the television. One thing we kept noticing... ads all the time. Sometimes 3 times per song! What has happened to televisions? It's a good thing we do not have one at home.
Another thing we noticed was... the simple task of playing a channel kept not working. There would many many cases of buffering, crossover between channels, awkward pauses etc.
So the tasks televisions already solved 50 years ago apparently became too hard to tackle.
What has happened?
In a lot of ways it 'feels' like society (or at least technology) is going backwards, not forward. █
