Anonymous Travel Requires Cash Payments
In some countries, such as Japan, cash is still widely circulated and used. When we were in Singapore, spying for travel was (and still is) more or less mandatory; public transport there is like Oyster in London.
Cash is not "dirty" and there are good things about an anonymous currency that does not share data or identify its holder.
There are many debates right now about "age verification"; it's really about spying, not age.
People who value privacy in society will recognise that not all so-called 'advancements' are worth having. █
