Debian Crisis Due to Plagiarism 'Normalised' in Code
Background:

Understandably, not just people in social control media (users and developers and Debian) are upset about what happened (see links above). Even the mailing lists have somewhat of a flamewar in the aftermath of a toxic GR seeking to rubberstamp plagiarism and rendering unpaid volunteers "auditors of botspam" "Note Lucas' footnote," someone has told us, as "he endorses slop and mixes slop into the output so the output he cites cannot be trusted..."
"But it looks like over 1/3 of (allowed) voting members are very strongly opposed to the direction Debian is forcing the project. It's another systemd-like incident. This affects Ubuntu (meh) and Linux Mint (a big deal) plus Kali and dozens of other important distros and many hundreds of not so important projects."
It'll be hard if not impossible to dissect and remove slop.
The packages will become slop-ware.
