all-smi - monitor GPUs, NPUs, and other system resources
all-smi is a terminal-based tool for monitoring GPUs, NPUs and other system resources.
It provides local and remote cluster views with support for NVIDIA and AMD GPUs, NVIDIA Jetson, Apple Silicon, Intel Arc and Iris Xe GPUs, Intel Gaudi, Google Cloud TPUs, and accelerators from Tenstorrent, Rebellions and Furiosa. The interface reports utilization, memory use, temperatures, clock speeds, power consumption and running processes in real time.

OrbitDeck - satellite tracking and orbital analysis software
OrbitDeck is a cross-platform desktop application for tracking artificial satellites and analysing their orbits. It is aimed primarily at amateur radio operators, although its extensive visualisation and planning tools are also useful to satellite observers and students.
The software combines maps, polar plots, timelines and a rotatable 3D globe with live look angles, pass predictions, Doppler calculations, illumination data and orbital analysis. It retrieves orbital elements from AMSAT and transmitter information from SatNOGS.
OrbitDeck can start offline using its bundled catalogue and coastline data, although fresh orbital elements are needed for accurate pass predictions. The companion OrbitTerm application provides access to the same orbital engine, configuration and cache from a terminal or SSH session.

rustic – fast, encrypted and deduplicated backups
Having a solid data backup strategy is imperative in keeping your data safe. Your storage drives won’t last forever. Also, hardware failure is just one way you can lose data. Even though Linux is less at risk of nasties like ransomware attacks than other operating systems, it offers no protection from things like natural disasters.
Probably one of the most important software applications, but often neglected, is the backup program. The best Linux backup software will keep you covered when you accidentally delete files, or when a disk bites the dust. Backup software protects a variety of file types, including documents, databases, photos, music, and videos. Backup software provides an automated solution for creating, managing, and restoring data from backups.
There are different types of backup software including full backup software, incremental backup software, and image backup software.
