Not Everything and Everyone is for Sale
Some people are so poor that all they have is money (to waste)
In 2005 I was working on my thesis and nearly finishing it. At the same time I was hyper-active (not a condition) on the Web, posting a lot in sites like Digg.com, in USENET, and in my personal blog (this site didn't yet exist in 2005).
Years later I quit my job at the University to focus more on personal activities related to Software Freedom and GNU/Linux advocacy.
The notion that I must chase money didn't appeal to me. It still doesn't.
In a sense, famous song titles like "Mo Money Mo Problems" make sense. Coming from Sean Combs, that makes even more sense. The more money a person has, the more jealousy and attacks one attracts. In addition, it increases one's life complexity.
So live a simple and humble life. Do what's right, not what society (indoctrinated by rich people who own mass broadcast) tell you to pursue. █
