Zorin OS 18 Might Be The Way Out Of Microsoft's AI Nightmare
The rise of AI and AI integration is looming high over the landscape, and many users are not enjoying this new layer of what some would consider spyware. Zorin OS 18, a Linux distro, may be the way out of the Microsoft Recall and CoPilot nightmare. Linux in general might be the way out for many, but Zorin OS 18 is one of the distros that makes it easier for newbie users to get into the Linux world.
I review countless Windows laptops on this site, and I love a lot of them when it comes to the hardware. But, like many in my audience, I too have become frustrated with the level of AI intrusion Microsoft is heaping on the user. So I recently switched one of my laptops to Zorin OS 18 and one of my desktops to Zorin OS 18. In this article, I’m going to provide a few reasons why you might consider switching to Linux if you’re concerned with privacy and with the direction Microsoft’s AI integration is headed.
This is not a step-by-step guide on how to install Zorin OS 18 or any Linux distro; there are tons of those on the web. This is just a list of reasons why you might consider this move. I suspect that many will not make the move because it does involve some work and some relearning in the process. We’ve all become very comfortable with convenience, and companies know this.
