Tux Machines Has Been Updated Every Day for Over a Decade
The site Tux Machines is 'hyper-active'. It's active all throughout the day, every day. Even while we're on holiday - including last month - the site gets updated. New material gets added. It's a product of 1) devotion; 2) multi-authorship (multiple authors); 3) diversity of time zones and 4) public support.
The sole exception this past decade was a day or two missed when we moved all the infrastructure to the UK (September 2023). But in that period of time the site was down altogether, so the concept of adding new material (to an offline site) would be outlandish.
Tux Machines turns 21.5 on the tenth of December, one week before my birthday. █
