Why We've Managed to Reach 40+ Years (as Web Sites)
Determination in the face of considerable abuse
As we said yesterday, this site and its sister site managed to make it to 40, just like the FSF. The age of this site is 21 (actually, 21.5 next month) and the sister site has just turned 19. That's in spite of increasingly vicious attempts to undermine and silence us.
The more recent ordeals served to show the increasing importance of what we do and voices we help air. We can hopefully continue doing the same for another 40+ years to come. █
