Fooyin 0.9 Music Player Arrives with Artwork Downloads, Synced Lyrics
Quoting: Fooyin 0.9 Music Player Arrives with Artwork Downloads, Synced Lyrics —
Ten months after the 0.8 release, Fooyin, a music player built around customization and currently available only for Linux, has released its new 0.9 version, which delivers some long-requested features.
Artwork improvements are one of the main highlights. Fooyin can finally handle embedded artwork changes, download missing covers, and display track-specific images more consistently. Alongside that, a handy settings option makes it easier to manage the disk cache and clear it when needed.
Lyrics support is another major addition in this release. The player can now find, save, and edit synced lyrics, a much-needed feature that brings Fooyin closer to competing with bigger names in the desktop music player space.
On top of that, playlists also get smarter, with autoplaylists, queue/play-next actions, and better search filtering within the current playlist.
