Fedora is one of the many Linux distros you can install on your computer, but "Fedora" itself actually applies to a few separate operating systems that are all governed by different philosophies and development practices. Fedora Atomic is an immutable operating system, meaning it has a read-only file system, and it uses that immutability to ensure it's stable, consistent, and reliable. You can now install Fedora Atomic on certain Android phones thanks to the Pocketblue initiative, and that's exactly what I did.
There's a catch, though; Pocketblue is only available on a very small set of Android devices. As of the time of writing, these are the only officially supported Android-based devices...
