The Raspberry Pi Imager 2.0 release brings major changes like a new wizard UI, device detection, Raspberry Pi OS Cloud-Init support, built-in Raspberry Pi Connect support, large-scale refactoring of dependencies and drive formatting, accessibility improvements, and better SSH (Secure Shell) configuration handling.

This release also implements support for local repository files in settings, a new colour scheme, improves keyboard navigation as no mouse is now needed to navigate the app, adds an openUrl method to ImageWriter for external URL handling, and updates the USB gadget setup.
